Ever since my 30th birthday party (which was a super hero costume party) when I put on the invitation “Gifts not required, but if you do they must be bough from these toy stores …”, I’ve been getting some cool pressies at the annual ritual of getting older. My wife, my kids, parents, in-laws, brother, friends – all have been gracious enough to indulge my geek-hood. For about the last year I have been looking at Cubeecraft paper toys and wanting to find some time to start making some. They’re cool characters, many from particular genres I know and love, look great and are relatively easy to start building. It wasn’t though until Christmas 2008 when I made my first one, and I haven’t really stopped since (Note: most collectors have some form of an addictive nature – it goes with the territory!).
