The Empire Muggs Back!
A friend of mine alerted me to this story – seems the StarWars.com folks have got a fundraiser on for Make a Wish Foundation, auctioning a range of custom-made Mighty Muggs from prominent artists. Called “The Empire Muggs Back“, the exhibition and auction will take place at San Diego Comic Con, but we’re told to keep watching StarWars.com for “in-depth Empire Muggs Back coverage, info on the online charity auction, Mighty Mugg crafting tips and artist profiles.” Can’t wait!

What the heck? Is that a TIE Fighter MM? And a Death Star? And Tattooine? Hmmm…not sure about any of those. Points for creativity though.

Hard to tell from the size of pic that we have, but all of them win points for creativity from me (definitely more “art” pieces that Mighty Muggs). I actually love the Death Star and TIE-Fighter heads, as well as Boushh, George Lucas (with his AT-AT on his lead) and the Tuskan Raider.
